Our Story
Blossom Music Tree has been serving the North County San Diego community since 2012. Over the years, we’ve grown and adapted in many ways. We’ve had our own studio, partnered with local spaces, and held classes in all kind of locations.
When Covid hit, we moved outdoors out of necessity, but something surprising happened! Families fell in love with the fresh air, open space and the feeling of connection that came with making music outside.
Today our home base is the beautiful and dreamy Cottonwood Creek Park in Encinitas, where we gather under the shady Blossom Music Tree and make live Music Together! At the same time, we also offer cozy indoor classes for families who prefer an enclosed setting. Whether indoors or outdoors, our goal is the same in creating a welcoming space for parents and children to connect through music, movement and play.
YOUR TEACHER
Daveen DiGiacomo
Daveen DiGiacomo has been sharing her love of music with families for over 20 years—and, since 2012, she’s been the proud owner and teacher at Blossom Music Tree. With a B.A. in Music from San Francisco State University, Daveen first taught piano, band, and orchestra in Los Angeles before discovering Music Together® in 2007 and has been singing “in the circle” ever since.
She delights in showing parents how to be musical with their little ones—accordion and all. When she’s not leading a room full of tiny humans, you’ll find her drinking lots of espresso and plotting new travel adventures!
